Qualifications

• Designed a radial or axial turbomachine that was built and operated.
• From mean-line to CFD revision, understand CFD accuracy.
• Resolved rotordynamics issues on real shaft and bearings.
• Made architecture calls early with incomplete data and constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own aerodynamic design of centrifugal compressor from mean-line to CFD.
• Define machine architecture like stage count and shaft speed.
• Design expansion turbine to recover shaft work.
• Coordinate rotor with rotordynamics and structural engineers.
• Test the machine on the stand and close the loop from measurements to design.
