Divergent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and production for turbojet propulsion. You will make engine designs manufacturable, mature the processes, and ensure every component meets flight-critical quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Materials Engineering.
• 2+ years (Engineer II) or 5+ years (Senior) in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Hands-on machining of nickel alloys (Inconel 718), titanium, stainless steels.
• Proficiency in CAD and GD&T, inspection methods (CMM, optical, surface metrology).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manufacturing for turbojet programs from parts to full engine build.
• Lead manufacturing processes across rotating hardware, hot and static components.
• Develop and refine processes for wheels, blades, casings, and bearings.
• Drive yield, cycle time and quality with data-driven improvements.
• Support NPI, test readiness, and feed findings back into design and process.
