Responsibilities

• Communicate and meet daily production schedules as guided by the scheduling group.
• Perform set-ups and changeovers on machinery with help from team members.
• Conduct quality checks and testing of assembled components at end of line assembly.
• Identify proper tooling and understand machinery and product for quality part manufacturing.
• Set up machinery correctly using various tools.
• Assign daily duties and ensure adherence to standard work and instructions.
• Provide input on staffing needs, overtime, shortages, tooling, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure timely and accurate production reporting.
• Develop and maintain standard work.
• Operate equipment for team members during absences.
• Perform team leader functions for three departments as assigned by supervisor.
• Respond to abnormal events and escalate as needed.
• Ensure 5S standards daily and oversee operator training.
• Guide and lead teamwork, production processes, and set-up items.
• Assist in troubleshooting set-up, tooling, equipment adjustments, and other issues.
• Meet quality, SPC, and documentation requirements.
