Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and adjust priorities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and meet daily production schedules as guided by the production scheduling group.
• Perform set-ups and changeovers on machinery with team support.
• Conduct quality checks and testing of assembled components at end of line.
• Identify proper tooling and understand machinery and product for quality part manufacturing.
• Set up machinery with appropriate tools and instructions.
• Assign daily duties to team members and ensure adherence to standard work.
• Provide input on staffing needs, overtime, shortages, tooling, and productivity.
• Ensure timely and accurate production reporting and maintain standard work.
• Oversee training of operators and provide leadership for safety and efficiency.
• Perform team leader duties across multiple departments as assigned by supervisor.
• Address abnormal events and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain 5S standards daily and promote continuous improvement.
• Assist with safety trainings and coordinate with EHS for safety issues.
• Travel occasionally as required.
