Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. is seeking a Turbine Operator for PROPWR to oversee operation and maintenance of turbine packages used in power generation.

The role involves monitoring operations, performing routine checks, and responding to abnormalities to ensure safe and efficient continuous operation. The incumbent will monitor control panels and instruments, coordinate with the Remote Operations Center for troubleshooting, and verify readiness after shut-down events, while adhering to HSE policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of gas turbine operations or electrical experience.
• Maintaining a valid current driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Able to read electrical and control drawings.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work a 12+ hour shift including days/nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to operate safely in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and continuous turbine operations.
• Monitor control panels, gauges and instruments for performance.
• Coordinate with Remote Operations Center for fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Assess equipment readiness after shut-down events and during start-up.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance in work areas.
• Record daily operational logs and maintenance activities.
• Lead troubleshooting on equipment and interfaces.
• Apply software tools for operational efficiency.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of power generation assets.
• Perform walk-around inspections and visual checks.
