Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Mechanical Designer for the Turbine Design team in the Large Gas Turbine division. You will create 3D CAD models of turbine parts in Siemens NX and translate designs into detailed drawings and PMI data.

The role emphasizes manufacturability, cost awareness, and collaboration across engineering disciplines. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in design/mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of mechanical design experience, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience with a project portfolio.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX and integration with PLM environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D parametric models for turbine parts using NX.
• Assess designs for function, manufacturability and cost.
• Create 2D drawings and PMI to product definition standards.
• Collaborate with design teams and provide design guidance.
• Support product definition tasks and manufacturing efforts.
