Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova is seeking a Blader / Turbine Mechanic to perform inspection, repair and installation of blades on rotating equipment in the service repairs workshop. The role requires reading blueprints, precision measurements and mechanical assembly work.

Work is on-site at the Richmond, VA repair center with potential overtime and weekend shifts. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED (or trade schooling) and experience with calipers and micrometers.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required.
• Trade School Diploma or 1–2 years related experience acceptable.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings required.

Aufgaben

• Remove and install blades on rotating equipment following procedures and blueprints.
• Fit, install and modify close-tolerance blades, seals, keys and gears.
• Prepare blades for installation (sandblasting, cleaning, etc.).
• Perform shrouding, peening, seal removal/installation, satellite installation and lock fabrication.
• Set up completed turbines for rotational testing and fabricate parts as needed.
