Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC seeks skilled machinists for the Repairs Division in St. Louis. Openings cover entry level to senior, focusing on bucket/blader turbine machining.

Position may require travel to field sites for experienced personnel, with responsibilities to set up, adjust, and operate shop and portable tools. Responsibilities include evaluating turbined components, explaining needed repairs to customers, and potentially leading other bucket blader teams on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (all levels).
• Machining vocational training or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Experience operating shop and portable machine tools for turbine components (levels II, III).
• Familiarity with lathes, milling machines, punch presses and CNC programming desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate shop and portable machine tools to repair turbine rotating steampath components.
• Install and machine GE/Troot buckets/blades and Westinghouse dovetails (various levels).
• Evaluate bucket condition at job sites and discuss repairs with customers.
• Lead and supervise bucket blader work at customer sites when required.
