Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced assembler to align, erect, and assemble turbine and unit components. The role requires interpreting drawings, using cranes and hand tools, and performing precise fits and alignments.

You will work on fixed floor workstations, follow quality checks, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals. First shift availability and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and interpreting shop drawings.
• Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Align, erect, assemble, and fit components of unit and main gas turbine.
• Interpret drawings and shop documents, and position components with hoists and cranes.
• Perform quality checks and maintain records; work as part of a team.
