Qualifications

• 10+ years of tunneling or underground construction experience.
• Strong understanding of tunnel safety, ground behavior, instrumentation.
• Ability to read plans, specs, shop drawings, and geotechnical reports.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under the weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field oversight of tunneling work.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety plans and OSHA requirements.
• Track daily progress and TBM performance.
• Verify work follows contract documents and approved submittals.
• Document activities through daily reports and logs.
• Participate in coordination meetings and communicate field issues.

Skills

Tunneling or underground construction experience
