Job summary

The Bachrach Group in Houston is seeking an experienced project manager for heavy civil construction. You will lead crews and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, while coordinating labor, equipment, and subcontractors across multiple disciplines.

Role requires strong verbal and written communication, high organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with MTBM, conventional tunneling, or geotechnical work is a plus, and

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in heavy civil work (required) or a B.S. in a relevant field with 5+ years in microtunneling, conventional tunneling, and geotechnical work
• Experience in heavy construction: site work, roads, or environmental
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with excellent follow-through
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with cloud-based field apps preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead all crews and subcontractors to complete projects safely, on time, and on budget
• Drive jobsite safety culture: lead daily risk assessments, toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors
• Maintain accurate timesheets, equipment count reports, and utilization reports
• Plan all project work in advance
• Supervise, train, and ensure tasks are carried out effectively by the Foreman
