Job summary

Qualifications

  • AutoCad and scheduling software is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.

  • Document construction activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget through job-cost tracking and project scheduling.
  • Participate in interfacing with clients and design teams.
  • Material procurement: order and manage materials and equipment.
  • Track quantity takeoffs.
  • Bid proposals.

Drill Tech Drilling & Shoring, Inc. (DTDS) is a design-build contractor specializing in the construction of earth retention systems, soil stabilizations, drilled foundations, landslide remediation, and tunnel and shaft construction. Drill Tech's 10 subsidiary companies possess a wide range of expertise including marine construction, rockfall mitigation, microtunneling, and other specialty services. We operate across the greater United States for both the private and public sector.

Job Description

This job is based in Oakdale, CA, and the position requires occasional travel as it will be necessary at various times for the applicant to work in the field. A successful candidate is willing to learn the fundamentals of our business and apply them to estimating, scheduling, cost control analysis, and operational implementation. Working alongside Drill Tech professional engineers, project managers, and field crews, project engineers must demonstrate excellent communication skills, and the ability to organize multiple concurrent tasks are required.

Primary Duties

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Document construction activities.
