Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, maintaining, or improving heavy equipment or production systems.
  • Ownership mindset with ability to become the technical owner of subsystems.
  • Use of data, maintenance history and operator feedback to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Hands-on field work in industrial or underground environments, including shift work as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own one or two tunnel boring machine or support equipment subsystems and act as the primary engineering contact.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, resolve downtime drivers, and support operations to keep systems running.
  • Investigate recurring failures and performance trends using field data and operator feedback.
  • Own subsystem reporting on health, downtime drivers, failure modes, and improvement priorities.
  • Review and improve maintenance procedures, guides, and documentation for owned subsystems.
  • Lead or support equipment upgrades and cross-functional improvement projects.
