El Car Wash is seeking a Tunnel Operator to manage the wash line flow, guide vehicles with precision, and maintain a fast, safe operation. You will be responsible for quick safety checks and proactive hazard spotting while delivering energetic, customer-friendly service.

Responsibilities include operating tunnel systems, communicating clearly under pressure, and collaborating with teammates to keep the tunnel running smoothly during all shifts.

Qualifications

• Attendance is essential; the role cannot be unmanned.
• Ability to stay focused in a loud, fast-moving environment.
• Strong situational awareness to catch issues early.
• Able to give clear, quick verbal instructions under pressure.
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and stay physically active throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Command the tunnel and manage wash line flow safely and efficiently.
• Set the energy by welcoming customers with high energy and a positive EL smile.
• Perform quick checks to ensure windows are up, sunroofs closed, and areas clear.
• Make quick, sound judgments to keep the tunnel safe and moving quickly.
• Operate and monitor tunnel systems and controls for peak performance.
• Identify hazards early and keep the tunnel area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with teammates and leadership to maintain smooth operations.
