Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, effective and efficient ongoing traffic operations and maintenance access.
• Coordinate detection, assessment, and verification of incidents and emergencies.
• Provide accurate incident notifications and coordinate with IRC and 911 dispatch.
• Transmit real-time traffic information to the TMC and coordinate responses with agencies.
• Operate incident response procedures and life-safety systems during incidents.
• Maintain awareness of tunnel conditions and hazards; support safety drills and testing.
