Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is hiring a program facilitator to implement high-quality enrichment curriculum for children in Katy, TX. You will create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment that supports personal growth, creativity, and confidence while aligning with the YMCA mission.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, supervising participants, maintaining records, communicating with families, and adhering to safety policies and center standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Experience in an enrichment area or youth programs preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Desire to work with children and families in a positive, patient manner.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention trainings.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and delivers enrichment lessons or activities.
• Creates safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapts instruction to meet diverse learning needs, abilities, and backgrounds.
• Supervises children under the direct guidance of site leadership.
• Tracks attendance, maintains records, and submits reports as directed.
• Models YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith.
• Maintains professional communication with children, families, and staff.
• Follows all policies and program standards including safety and incident reporting.
