Job summary

The City of O’Fallon is seeking a Tumbling Instructor for a part-time role within our Parks and Recreation Department. You will teach tumbling to groups and individuals, and adapt to a flexible evening schedule with a friendly, public-facing approach.

Tumbling Instructor Part Time

The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Tumbling Instructor. Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your tumbling know-how and skills in decision making, problem solving and dealing with the public? Our Tumbling Instructors enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $30.00 hourly.

As part of our Parks and Recreation Department, this position plays an important role in providing tumbling instruction to groups and individuals. Generally, you'll teach a few classes each week, including helping out when a substitute teacher is needed.

Responsibilities

• Setting up facilities for programs, events, games, and activities
• Providing information and top notice customer service to patrons
• Researching and proposing new programs, as well as providing input on improving existing ones
• Developing program curriculum and schedules

We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable in tumbling skills, including acrobats. This person should be comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals. Availability to work evenings during class times is required.
