Job summary

Chamberlain University in Tulsa, Oklahoma invites applications for a Part-Time Maternal-Child Faculty position in the BSN program. Teaching occurs onsite in clinical settings with our clinical partners, typically 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) over three to four consecutive days.

The instructor will deliver maternal-newborn content emphasizing family-centered care, health promotion, and diverse populations, while guiding students through clinical experiences and assessments.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing
• Unencumbered Oklahoma nursing license
• At least two years of RN teaching experience within last five years
• Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required
• Have genuine passion for nursing education and lifelong learning

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students
• Evaluates student performance and provides remedial feedback
• Maintains current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and procedures
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments
• Grades assignments and conducts didactic teaching as needed
• Assists with program development and college operations
• Maintains professional standards and supports campus retention efforts
