Job summary

Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician for the Tucson Upper Campus (6th-12th grade). This school-year position offers consistent hours, on-site work, and mentorship from qualified staff.

You will implement ABA strategies in classrooms to help students access the curriculum and reach IEP goals. Qualifications include 1–2 years in functional skills, ABA familiarity, and the ability to work with high school students; certifications such as CPR/First Aid are required

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom settings and familiarity with ABA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with parents and professionals.
• Ability to train others in behavior management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing instructional programs and behavior management.
• Support academic instruction and behavior plans as part of a classroom team.
• Prepare materials and assist with lesson delivery and grouping.
• Assist with routines, transitions, and self-care tasks.
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to school policies.
• Mentoring paraprofessionals and applying ABA techniques as directed.
