Job summary

Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician at the Phoenix Upper Campus (4th-12th Grade). The role focuses on implementing ABA strategies to help students access the curriculum and meet IEP goals, working within a classroom team, with mentoring and professional development opportunities.

This school-year position offers set hours (7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) with summer opportunities, and requires background in ABA, classroom experience, and a valid Arizona IVP

Qualifications

• Candidates should have classroom experience and a strong understanding of ABA principles.
• Ability to train paraprofessionals and work with parents and education professionals.
• Must adhere to confidentiality and professional conduct policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing instructional programs and behavior management in the classroom.
• Collaborate with the classroom team to support academics and behavior plans.
• Deliver lessons, support independent work, and assist small group instruction.
• Prepare materials and assist with classroom planning.
• Help students participate in routines, transitions, and self-care tasks.
• Implement ABA techniques as directed by supervisors.
• Mentor and train paraprofessionals on best practices.
• Follow behavior supports and behavior plans as assigned.
• Able to obtain and maintain QBS certification.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
