Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking substitute classroom staff in Tucson to supervise and support students across settings. You will help maintain a safe, engaging environment and assist with daily routines per teacher plans.

Qualifications include a degree or college credits, references, and background checks. Prior teaching or paraprofessional experience is valued; bilingual ability is a plus.

• Three professional references, including at least one from a supervisor.
• State and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment with student engagement.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions following teacher plans.
• Communicate clearly with school staff and leave feedback for the returning teacher.
• Assist with daily activities and support students as directed.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary forday-to-day assignments and is typicallymore for long-term placements.Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

Youll Stand Out If You:

• Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• Have previous experience in special education settings
