Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English sufficiently to perform duties.
• Understanding of basic quality and safety practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply tape measures, groove gauges, and pipe tapes to specs.
• Operate and monitor tape systems, bundling, and tagging processes.
• Determine bundle size and materials to meet customer/BMT specs.
• Check surface and end conditions of tubing.
• Set up and operate manual tables and bundling equipment.
• Contribute to mill setup and coating line operations.
• Check and apply coating and stencils as required.
• Interpret tubing and customer specs to ensure an exact match.
• Follow company quality requirements and housekeeping rules.
• Complete quality sheets and operate forklift as needed.
• Operate overhead crane when required.
