Trinidad Benham in LaGrange, GA is seeking a full-time packaging line operator to set up and operate the production line, ensure products meet quality specs, and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities include line setup, monitoring, changeovers, keeping GMP standards, performing quality checks, operating forklift to replenish rolls, and assisting maintenance as needed.

The role requires physical stamina and willingness to work overtime; prior experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Ability to lift 35-45 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods and climb stairs.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate the line to produce product that meets quality specifications, maintain the machine systems, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot common machine/quality problems.
• Set up and complete initial thread up of machine, i.e knife set up, change paper
• Monitor process, correct jams and other problems that occur.
• Prepare quality check sheet; ability to read a tape measure.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of line to GMP standards by removing paper and other trash, removing dust and debris, etc.
• Shut down equipment at end of shift, daily and weekends.
• Troubleshoot minor quality and machine problems; communicate more complex problems to maintenance.
• Understand functions of glue system; monitor in order to prevent spills.
• Complete changeovers as required in order to meet production demands.
• Change core knives when necessary.
• Any other duties as requested or required.
• Operate forklift to replenish rolls of core paper if needed.
• Transport full cartons of cores to the designated storage or production area if necessary.
