Job summary

Metallus invites students to join the Tube Mill Maintenance Engineering Intern program in Canton, OH for Summer 2027. Qualifications

• GPA minimum 2.5 required.
• Must have completed 30+ credit hours by end of Spring 2027 semester.
• Must be a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
• Preferred major: Electrical Engineering or related.

Responsibilities

• Work with Maintenance Planners/Schedulers, Operations, Engineering, and Reliability Engineers to support continuous improvement across Tube Making operations.
• Identify, track, and implement equipment and process improvements to enhance reliability, safety, and productivity.
• Review and submit drawing updates to reflect current operating conditions and equipment changes.
• Assist spare parts management by tracking critical components and resolving inventory or availability issues.
• Develop maintenance work packages and scopes for projects/services bid through external vendors.
• Analyze maintenance and equipment data to identify reliability trends and support preventive/predictive maintenance.

Two-year or four-year college/university (completed 30+ credit hours)
