Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled machine operator to support precision manufacturing operations in Kentucky. You will verify part quality, load materials, and run and troubleshoot machines to maintain premium output.

Responsibilities include reading prints, performing daily maintenance, and setting up multiple jobs per day while adhering to MEC safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work orders and follow instructions.
• Laser experience preferred, especially Tube Laser.
• Comply with MEC safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate results-driven attitude with high energy.
• Knowledge of tubular steel manufacturing and fabrication processes is a plus.

• Use hard gages and calipers to verify part quality.
• Operate forklift and crane to load material into machine.
• Operate and troubleshoot machine parameters to ensure quality.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and typically set up multiple jobs per day.
• Utilize prints and work instructions to determine cutting specifications.

Qualifications

• Work with little direction (other than standard procedures)
• Having laser experience is preferred, especially Tube Laser
• Ability to understand and follow at MEC safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a dedication to achieving results and be able to sustain high drive and energy
• Knowledge of tubular steel manufacturing and fabrication processes is a PLUS!
