Job summary

SPS Companies, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Operator to run tube fabrication equipment such as saws, swagers, bending machines, and drills. You will ensure customer specifications and maintain strict safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to read a tape measure, work well in a team, and participate in safety meetings. This is an on-site warehouse position with standard shifts and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, interpret and use a tape measure and other tube fabrication equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Safety orientation and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, shop-floor environment with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment in a job shop atmosphere.
• Record accurate information for all production orders.
• Keep work area clean and safe throughout the day.
• Report quality-related problems to the Supervisor for resolution.
• Provide cross training to others as needed and be cross trained.
