Smiths Group plc is seeking a skilled assembler to support production of rigid and flexible tube assemblies in our Laconia, NH facility. You will perform visual and dimensional checks, read blueprints, and prepare hoses and fittings for assembly using hand tools and equipment.

This role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, and following safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience are acceptable; training and growth opportunities are available on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tubes, components and finished products.
• Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, salvages parts from assemblies and repairs rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products.
• Prepare hoses and fittings for assembly using hand tools and applying RTV.
• Set up and operate swager or crimper and other equipment.
• Read blueprints, process sheets, and procedures to manufacture rigid and flexible metal tubes.
• Measure dimensions and perform quality tests per procedures.
• Load, stack, and transport stock, tools, dies, and work in process.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; follow procedures and standards.
