SMITHS TUBULAR SYSTEMS - LACONIA seeks a tubing fabrication associate to cut, grind, form, deburr, clean, swage and polish metal tubes for hydraulic, pneumatic, waste and exhaust installations. You will read blueprints, measure tolerances, and perform quality tests to ensure conformance to specifications.

High school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months related experience or training preferred. Responsibilities include using hand tools and specialized equipment to prepare hoses, attach

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to perform visual and dimensional checks on materials and products.
• Capable of reading blueprints and process sheets for tube fabrication.

Mansioni

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
• Plans, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, salvage parts from assemblies and repair rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies.
• Uses hand tools to prepare hose for assembly and attaches fittings, applies RTV and other preparations.
• Sets up and operates abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment such as swager or crimper.
• Reads blueprints and process sheets to manufacture rigid and flexible metal tubes.
• Measures angular dimensions, radii, contours, wall thickness and other specifications; conducts quality tests.
