Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Software Engineering Lead in Arlington, VA to oversee multiple Agile teams delivering mission-critical software in secure environments. You will shape architectural strategy, drive DevSecOps maturity, and advance CI/CD automation while partnering with executives, product stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable delivery.

This is a senior technical leadership role.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
• Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and delivering complex software systems.
• Strong Agile software development experience across the full SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Python, Java, PLSQL, YAML, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins or Ansible Automation.

• Experience translating business/mission requirements into technical delivery plans and sprint goals
• Hands-on experience with: JavaScript, Python, Java, PLSQL, YAML, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins or Ansible Automation
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, automated testing, observability, and security controls
• Software release management and version control experience
• Experience using Jira or equivalent Agile project management tools
• Experience with: GitHub, Gradle, PowerShell, Java Full Stack Development, Oracle 19c or Web Services Prior experience supporting DISA programs and mission partners
• AWS cloud design, development, and deployment experience
• Experience driving engineering strategy across large organizations
• Experience implementing governance, standards, and engineering best practices
• Experience incorporating Generative AI tools into software engineering organizations
