  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather program requirements, identify dependencies, and establish efficient workflows.
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and guidance materials to support program implementation and compliance.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on program data and performance metrics to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare written reports, briefing materials, and presentations for agency leadership, legislative bodies, or other public entities.
  • Provide program support, coordination, and logistical assistance for interdepartmental meetings, public outreach, or training sessions.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state policies, procurement laws, IT standards, and program-specific regulations.
  • Support TSS goals of increasing efficiency, reducing duplication, and modernizing services across the executive branch.

Position will lead the fleet initiative that is part of the Arkansas Forward project. Responsible for supporting telematics statewide for over 3,000 vehicles, and associated analysis. Goal is to maximize vehicle utilization while complying with state laws and policies. Requires creative problem solving with all departments while supporting their fleet needs, and facilitating solution centered meetings and presenting complicated data concisely to executive leadership. Fleet experience not required, but curiosity on problem solving and serving customers is highly valued.

Job Summary

The TSS Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of strategic programs and initiatives within the Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS). This role supports cross-agency collaboration, ensures efficient use of state resources, and helps deliver government services that are streamlined, accountable, and citizen-focused.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong understanding of public program planning, coordination, and execution.Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Ability to analyze program data and make recommendations based on findings.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, political science, project management, communication, or a related field.

Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
