Job summary

Culmen International LLC is seeking Security Training Instructors to support TSA Screening Partnership Program tasks at commercial airports nationwide. Instructors will deliver and manage TSA-approved training, maintain certifications, and ensure officers receive consistent, compliant, and effective instruction.

Qualifications

• Must satisfy TSA STI qualification and certification.
• Experience delivering adult-learning classroom instruction.
• Strong knowledge of security screening procedures and training principles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work irregular schedules, including weekends/holidays.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. National and able to clear TSA background checks.
• Desire: TSA/Security Training Instructor qualification.
• Desire: Level II TSO certification.
• Desire: Experience delivering TSA nationally developed training.
• Desire: Experience with remedial training, OJT, QA, and LMS.
• Desire: Formal instructor or adult-learning certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver TSA-approved initial, recurrent, remedial, return-to-duty, and specialized training.
• Complete and maintain TSA instructor and screener certifications.
• Conduct passenger and baggage screening as required to maintain proficiency.
• Deliver classroom, practical, and OJT instruction per TSA requirements.
• Evaluate student performance and identify training gaps.
• Coordinate remedial training after deficiencies.
• Maintain training, certification, and compliance records.
• Collaborate with supervisors to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support Assistant Training Instructors and OJT coaches.
