Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to support mission critical applications for the Intelligence Community. This role offers a hybrid schedule with on-site presence in Centreville, VA three days per week and collaboration with a dedicated team delivering testing across multiple environments.

You will create test plans, execute tests, report progress to stakeholders, and collaborate with engineers to resolve defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience in software testing and understanding of testing types.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency with Linux, VMware, and Windows environments.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures to ensure software meets expectations.
• Execute tests and report progress to team and product owners.
• Coordinate with engineers to identify and report issues.
• Defect testing and management across environments.
• Manage test artifacts and support government test events.
• Participate in SAFe planning and execution.
