Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to support Linux-based cloud and on-premise systems in a mission operations environment. You will lead system changes, troubleshoot with government and contractor teams, and sustain critical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have deep Linux/RHEL experience, HPC clustering skills with Slurm/MPI, and a strong focus on security and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to obtain CI Poly post-hire.
• DoD 8570 compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent/higher).
• Experience with Linux system administration in mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL and HPC clusters.

Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role in system changes and improvements.
• Collaborate with government and contractor points of contact to troubleshoot issues.
• Proactively recommend configuration changes to improve system performance.
• Maintain system security compliance by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Author and update operational and security documentation including guides and SOPs.
• Support day-to-day sustainment of mission-critical infrastructure.
