Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer with Linux system administration experience to support cloud and on-premise systems in a mission operations environment. An active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph post-hire is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; CI Polygraph post-hire.
• DoD 8570 compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Red Hat and Linux certifications.
• Agile certifications.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with NGA networking environments.
• Knowledge of STIG/IAVA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead system changes and improvements with government/contractor points of contact.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose configuration changes to improve performance.
• Maintain security documentation and SOPs; support ISCP exercises with Security teams.
• Sustain day-to-day operation of mission-critical infrastructure.
