Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a Systems Administrator with TS/SCI clearance to support our intelligence customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will manage desktop and server systems, perform day-to-day operations, and provide Tier 2/3 incident resolution in a secure, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include patch management, STIG compliance, disaster recovery planning, and coordination with on-site and remote users. Travel is minimal; both Linux/Windows environments are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant IT field.
• Strong understanding of Unix/Windows system administration and security best practices.
• Experience with STIG hardening and security compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain desktop and server systems connected to LAN/WAN and manage OS installations.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Unix/Windows workstations and servers.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and backups; assist in disaster recovery planning.
• Implement security controls in line with STIG guidelines and monitor system health.
• Respond to after-hours on-call requests and troubleshoot issues across multiple domains.
