Job summary
D2 Technical Services seeks a Systems Administrator to support our intelligence customer in Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on maintaining and securing desktop and server systems, providing Tier 2/3 support, and coordinating site visits and upgrades with on-site and remote users.
The candidate will install operating systems, patches, and software, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with STIG guidelines. A TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly eligibility are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have Security+ certification or DoW 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire.
- TS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
- UNIX, Windows, and/or Storage administration.
- Experience with trouble reporting/tracking systems.
Responsibilities
- Systems administration of desktops and servers connected to LAN/WAN.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Unix/Windows workstations and servers.
- Coordinate site visits and upgrades with on-site and remote users.
- Install/load OS and applications, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Maintain security and SOPs, conduct routine data center maintenance.
- Support backup and recovery planning and execution.
