Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Junior Systems Administrator to support the OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role focuses on Linux/Windows administration, performance optimization, and user support in an on-site Bethesda environment.

The position requires Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph eligibility, a relevant degree, and experience with automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management (Salt, Ansible).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience or 5 years of experience alternative.
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows administration experience.
• Patching and virtual server builds experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, installations, configurations, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and enforce DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts for patching, configuration, and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide service desk coverage on a rotating basis (6 AM–6 PM, Mon–Fri).
