Job summary

Leidos in Hawaii is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Site Reliability Engineer at Hickam Air Force Base to support the ABMS Digital Infrastructure for JADC2. You will monitor health, automate tasks, and collaborate with development teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

The role requires a BS with 8–12 years (MS with 6–10 years acceptable), cloud, scripting, Ansible/Terraform, and security certifications. On-call rotation applies; experience with Cisco/Juniper and Linux is valued.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or MS with 6–10 years; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Proven Site Reliability Engineer or similar experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiar with containerization/orchestration (Rancher/Harvester).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in on-call rotation.
• Familiar with Cisco/Juniper, Linux CLI and logs, IdAM, and VSAN/Cloud Storage.
• Certifications: DOD 8140 IAT II, GIAC Security Essentials, GICSP/SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain system health.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Document processes and procedures for future reference.
• Perform data center tasks: backups, software installs, ACAS scans, hardware upgrades, and network troubleshooting.
