Job summary
Assured Consulting Solutions in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator / Site Reliability Engineer to maintain highly available infrastructure across AWS, OpenShift, and on-prem environments. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work onsite in a SCIF setting.
You will configure AWS services, OpenShift deployments, Linux systems, and security controls while collaborating with government clients and engineering teams to meet high-throughput AI workloads
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (ABAC, PKI encryption).
- Strong Red Hat / Linux administration background.
- 8140 certification (e.g. Security+) and AWS certification desired.
Responsibilities
- Configuring AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager).
- Configuring OpenShift deployment files.
- Basic Linux administration, passwords, configurations, provisioning.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for AI workflows.
- Implement security protocols to comply with DIA CIO, NIST SP 800-53, and ICD 503 standards.
- Collaborate with engineers to align infrastructure with data processing needs.
