Job summary

LiquidKinetics Consulting Corp. seeks a skilled Splunk Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Splunk-based analytics and monitoring systems for enterprise environments. You will manage data ingestion, build dashboards and alerts, and ensure reliability and performance of the Splunk platform.

Collaborating with security, operations, and engineering teams, you will deliver actionable insights from log data to improve observability and security posture in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Proven experience administering and supporting Splunk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, data ingestion methods and forwarder management.
• Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
• Experience troubleshooting complex Splunk platform issues.
• Familiarity with SIEM concepts.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Splunk data inputs, indexes, and forwarders for efficient data collection.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams on data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk platform issues and monitor health.
• Implement best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and security.
• Document Splunk configurations and administration procedures.
• Support users with SPL queries and analytics capabilities.
