Job summary

Optiv + ClearShark is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Splunk Engineer to implement, manage, and optimize the Splunk platform for automated security operations.

You will develop custom playbooks, integrate with security tools, and elevate the organization’s security posture. Responsibilities include creating dashboards, troubleshooting Splunk, and guiding junior engineers while collaborating with clients to understand needs and objectives.

Qualifications

• Security clearance TS/SCI with CI polygraph is required.
• Splunk Core certification is required; ITSI and Architect/Consultant certifications are preferred.
• Strong Linux scripting and SOC experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create custom Splunk reports, dashboards, and content per customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot Splunk instances and optimize configuration.
• Execute scope of work with minimal oversight and SOP adherence.
• Analyze client needs and objectives to tailor solutions.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues as needed.
• Mentor Associate and Level I/II engineers on tasks.
