Job summary

CDW LLC seeks a Senior Splunk Engineer to design, implement, and manage Splunk solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments to enable advanced data analysis, monitoring, and visualization.

The role requires 8+ years hands‑on Splunk experience and an active TS/SCI clearance, with onsite work at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. You will develop data onboarding, SPL queries, dashboards, and alerts aligned with security and operations needs.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Splunk environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructures.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and maintenance for optimal performance and security.
• Monitor Splunk health and troubleshoot performance, configuration, and connectivity issues.
• Develop and maintain data onboarding processes, including parsing, indexing, and normalization.
• Write and optimize SPL queries and data transforms for accurate data ingestion.
• Create dashboards, reports, and alerts for operations, security, and business needs.
