Job summary

Vantor Holdings, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to develop and integrate software algorithms for the PUMA missile warning program. The role requires both software development and mathematical proficiency and a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Responsibilities include turning algorithm definitions into robust software, applying standards, and building automated test tools. A BS in CS (or related field) with 5+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligible.
• 5+ years of professional experience in related fields.
• Experience in scientific programming or algorithm implementation.

Responsibilities

• Take algorithm definitions and prototypes and convert them into robust software applications for large images and operational environments.
• Apply software standards and processes to produce high quality, extensible, and maintainable software packages.
• Build and improve automated test and verification software and tools.
• Debug, refactor and reimplement existing software codebases into new systems and on new platforms.
• Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
