Job summary

Parsons seeks experienced Security Control Assessors/RMF analysts to support Army IS&A cybersecurity authorization and compliance in Aberdeen, MD. You will develop and maintain RMF packages, review NIST controls, and support ATO lifecycle for classified programs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience with 4+ years.
• Ability to work onsite in a Government SCIF in Aberdeen, Maryland.
• Demonstrated RMF experience.
• Strong experience developing, maintaining, and managing security authorization packages in eMASS.
• Experience assessing or documenting NIST 800-53 controls.
• Experience supporting IATTs, ATOs, renewals, continuous monitoring, and remediation activities.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute RMF activities per DoD/federal policies and procedures.
• Serve as Security Control Assessor or RMF analyst for system authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain IATT and ATO packages in eMASS.
• Collect and analyze cybersecurity information from government and vendors.
• Review security control implementations, assessment evidence, and POAs/MNs.
• Validate proper documentation, implementation, assessment, and tracking.
• Identify deficiencies and assist with remediation plans.
• Prepare authorization packages for IATTs, ATOs, renewals, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with ISOs, ISSOs, ISSMs, system admins, vendors, and government stakeholders.
• Track package status, findings, and milestones.
• Communicate security posture and recommended actions clearly.
• Support continuous monitoring and configuration changes.
• Participate in technical reviews and authorization decision activities.
• Maintain compliance with security requirements in classified environments.
