Job summary

DCCA is hiring for a Systems Engineering leadership role in Maryland, focusing on requirements analysis, system design, and government-facing coordination. This position requires TS/SCI with poly and offers growth within a veteran-owned IT environment.

The selected candidate will deliver architecture, integration, and testing plans, working with government personnel and senior executives to ensure technical integrity and mission success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.
• PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
