Job summary

D2 Consulting is seeking a Project/Implementation Manager with a TS/SCI clearance to lead mission-critical IT projects for an intelligence customer. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, drive cross-functional teams, and manage scope, schedule, and costs to meet key milestones.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, program management, and direct liaison with clients in a high-stakes environment, based in St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project or task management.
• Proven ability to lead medium to large teams or departments with complex workflows.
• Experience supporting government clients, preferably within intelligence or defense space.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of complex IT projects and systems engineering tasks from initiation through delivery.
• Drive technical staff, including engineers, developers, operations teams and multi-disciplinary service lanes.
• Manage scope, schedule, milestone-based invoicing inputs, and resource allocation to meet mission milestones.
• Mitigate risks, identify bottlenecks, and drive rapid solutions to ensure mission readiness.
• Serve as primary liaison to intelligence customer stakeholders and host TEMs and briefings.
• Coordinate development of deliverables and ensure quality assurance.
