Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist to join the Security team and support U.S. Government classified programs.

You will manage security reporting, data flows, and process improvements for multiple customers while ensuring compliance with federal regulations. The role requires a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and experience handling collateral, SCI, and special access programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence, Security Management, Business Administration, or analytical field or 5 years of Security Specialist security experience.
• 5+ years experience managing collateral, SCI and/or special access security programs.
• 5+ years experience interpreting and enforcing security requirements of the NISPOM, ICD, ICPG, Executive Orders, and other Agency specific regulations as it pertains to personnel security.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Process employee reportable information in accordance with the AWS employee self-reporting program within US ADC Industrial Security, ensuring compliance with US government customers.
• Develop mechanisms and processes to improve data flow of reporting activity.
• Drive efficiencies for personnel security reporting programs across multiple customers and ensure security documentation, and files are maintained in accordance with US government requirements.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of personnel security reporting programs.
• Own development and enhancement of personnel security reporting programs, ensuring they are developed and operated in accordance with internal and customer security policies and practices.
• Monitor processes and drive improvements in efficiency and quality of our personnel security reporting programs.
• Interface regularly with AWS stakeholders and government customers to support clearance and reporting activities.
