Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. seeks an Operations Specialist to support Virginia Beach operations. This full-time CONUS role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and offers a base salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 annually.

The position involves monitoring daily operations, managing rotating watch schedules, and coordinating with Government Project Managers. You will mentor staff, prepare SOPs, and ensure secure, efficient operation in a demanding defense environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School education and four (4) years' experience in a team environment.
• Current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations as part of a 24/7 support team.
• Work within a rotating watch to ensure project deliverables.
• Monitor mission systems and IT equipment and initiate fixes as needed.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and act as escalation liaison between operations and support teams.
• Deliver timely updates to leadership and customers for situational awareness.
• Conduct pass down briefings and mentor junior staff.
• Develop and update operations procedures and SOPs.
• Lead project status meetings and identify risks with Government PMs.
