Job summary

Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, MO. The role involves planning and developing telecommunications solutions, analyzing network options, and delivering improvements for mission success.

The candidate will lead network design efforts, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and support modernization including AI/automation to enhance security and operations. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and extensive TCP/IP expertise.

Qualifications

Extensive TCP/IP network knowledge and troubleshooting across LAN/WAN.
ITIL and DAWIA PM certifications are required.
Experience managing enterprise networks with cybersecurity deployments.
Familiar with FAR/DFAR acquisition rules and processes.
Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, test, and evaluate network systems and services (LAN/WAN, internet/intranet, satellite).
Provide technical leadership for senior-, mid-, and junior-level Network Systems Engineers.
Support enterprise security roadmaps and modernization efforts, including AI/automation.
Capture stakeholder needs and translate into testable technical requirements with thresholds.
Communicate findings and risk posture to technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate across departments, vendors, and partner agencies to align priorities.
Define milestones and track progress to ensure deliverables meet security requirements.
Produce weekly status reports and performance metrics for leadership.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and operational handoffs for continuity.
Drive process improvements and SOPs for security controls and workflows.
