Job summary

D2 Consulting in St. Louis seeks a senior Systems Engineer with TS/SCI eligibility to build and maintain data pipelines for cybersecurity investigations. You will manage SIEM, VM infrastructure, and cloud assets, while coordinating with government stakeholders and service providers.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, incident resolution, and applying secure configuration management to ensure 99.99% system availability and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineer or similar experience.
• IAT II certification and obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days of hire.
• Strong work ethic, be self-directed, and be detail-oriented.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new, cutting-edge technologies.
• Possess excellent time management and the drive to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrated ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated issues and perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Communicate with program SMEs as well as customers with less technical backgrounds.
• Maintain system availability and reliability with a 99.99% threshold.
• Coordinate event collection, log management, and identity monitoring activities.
• Apply Configuration Management to maintain revisions, patches, hardening, and documentation.
• Perform day-to-day and scheduled maintenance per agency change processes.
• Execute emergency maintenance with government approval and coordination.
• Configure assets within Government Furnished Software Tools per DoD/IC/NGA rules.
• Use agency ticketing systems to document, track, and coordinated actions.
